I just read this article and I guess it’s one of those things that everyone knows about, but; it’s sort of like “Out of sight, out of mind”, but eventually it’s going to catch up to us. I changed to Equal years ago, thinking that sugar was bad for me, but with all the additives in food now, this is definitely slow poison.
I grew up with freshly made foods, (breads, pies, pancakes, biscuits, etc), there wasn’t the constant barrage of junk food out there, or if there was, it wasn’t in our house. We simply couldn’t afford it, with 8 kids, my Mom learned how to make a chicken or a pound of hamburger feed 10 people. In todays day and age, it’s just too easy to grab and go. Shortcuts, microwaves, instant this and that. All the food companies are just giving us what we want, and very few of us realize that we are, indeed, poisoning ourselves. Gotta stop somewhere or we’ll be popping pills from the time we’re born until we die.
I don’t touch the stuff! This needs to be shared for all those diet soda drinkers or sugar free stuff people eat!
